Cooperating in the studies and evaluations are Bluefield State College, WVU, Consolidation Coal and U.S. Steel.

Mine water treatment ponds have been tested and have evidenced that fish can survive.

The EDA is looking for an entrepreneur to bring this project to realization.

The EDA is also studying and testing the Algoma site, another location in the County, to
