Lusk to Speak at Welch Chamber Monthly Meeting

Mr. Jeffery “Jeff” Lusk, Executive Director of the Hatfield-McCoy Trail Regional Recreation Authority, will be the featured speaker at the forthcoming Chamber of Commerce's “open to the public” monthly meeting. In addition to detailing the economic impact of the Hatfield-McCoy system, the session will inform the public on how a properly organized tail system enhances safety and pleasure for 4-wheeling enthusiasts.

The session will be held in the Herzburn Room of the McDowell Public Library in Welch on Wednesday, September 27, at 12:00 noon. A light lunch will be available.

“Jeff” is a native of Wyoming County and currently resides in Kopperston. Prior to joining the Hatfield-McCoy organization, he was Executive Director of the highly successful Wyoming County Economic Development Authority. He holds a masters degree in public administration from Marshall University plus undergraduate degrees from Penn State and WVU Institute of Technology. “Jeff” is a Certified Economic Developer, Certified Community Developer and has earned the designation of Economic Development Financing Professional. He also serves on several community boards and authorities.
